Slackity, Slack, Slack...

Looks like now that I'm back to work, I'll be doing weekly instead of daily updates! Things are good, but busy... I'll let you know about our week soon - I promise!!! Now it's time to watch the Ravens vs. Panthers football game :)

Pity Party

Today was the last work-day that I was off for summer vacation/maternity leave :( I know, I know... I was SO lucky to be able to spend 5 1/2 months with my babies! And if I have to go back to work, I wouldn't want to be doing anything other than teaching, so at least that's good... But who wants to work when they could spend ALL day with these two?

Last one :(

This morning we had our last playdate with Becca and Abby before Ang has to go back to work. Bummer!

Where's Lottie?

Hola Amigos!!!

If you know me and Tony, we're always up for some Mexican food! We (when I say we, I mean Tony) often use up leftovers in the fridge by creating some variation of a Mexican dish. Tony often ventures into the Latino grocery stores in search of sauces, spices, etc. He's the only gringo in there, and I am often amazed when he comes out unscathed ;P Last night was one of those nights, and it was delicious! Even Lucas enjoyed his...

Picture Day

Took the kids to have their pics taken this morning. Always an adventure, but luckily Mommom was there to help :) Lucas is always hesitant about going in the photo room with the photo guy (even though we're right next to him). And Lottie wasn't her usual smily self. Oh well! At least we were able to get a few cute ones. I can pick up the real pics late next week, so for now these will have to hold you over...

Progression

At Becca's house, Daddy found a babydoll stroller to put Charlotte in. Becca was quick to tell him it was only for dolls. Strangely enough, Charlotte really enjoyed it in there.
Carrie and Jason's neighbors were having a yard sale, and coincidentally were selling a similar babydoll stroller. Tony went over to buy it, thinking Charlotte could use it in a year or two (how sweet!)

This is what it has turned in to :)

Celebration

To celebrate Lottie's 5 month birthday, we met Daddy for lunch at a "fast food" Indian restaurant.
After Lucas' nap, we headed to Mike & Brenda's pool for a bit! Just a few pics from today:

Let's go Panthers!!!

The Carolina Panthers had their 1st pre-season game tonight. After Lottie went to bed, we dressed up in our jerseys and played a little pigskin. Tackling, growling, yelling, running, etc. Lucas got to watch the 1st quarter, but he was SO wound up that he didn't do much watching. He squealed and ran around like a nut :) Good times...

Sunday at Hart-Miller Island

We went boating again yesterday with Jeff, Chasity, and Lily. Had a terrific time as usual :) We launched the boat north of Baltimore and headed over to Hart-Miller Island. We chilled on the boat a little, and then headed to the island. Lucas and Lily are so cute playing together!!! They dug in the sand, swam in the water, and played a little frisbee. We climbed the tower where we had a great view of all the boats there. Lucas and Lily spent their time up there singing and dancing around in circles laughing like maniacs. They both slept all the way back home in the boat! Charlotte was super-baby. She did great all day!!!

Are you ready for some...

FOOTBALL???!!!???

This morning, we headed up to the Ravens training camp. We got all decked out in our purple and Lucas was sooo excited to see the football players that he watched earlier this week on tv. There was quite a crowd and it was hot, but it was a good time. The practice was only 2 hours long. At the camp entrance, there were moonbounces and slides for the kids... But Lucas didn't want any part of them. Maybe next year... The first 1/2 of practice, they were doing throwing/catching drills right in front of us. That was neat to watch, even though Mommy and Lottie stood back in the shade and couldn't see it all. Daddy and Lucas were too cute sitting in the bleachers :) The second 1/2, they moved to the other end of the field to work on something that looked boring. So, our attention moved elsewhere and Lucas played some football with a few other kids that he met (there were tons of kids and babies there!).
