7 months!

Lottie girl is now 7 months old and still a happy thing! She's not crawling yet, but loves to sit up or lay on her belly and play with toys. She's eating cereal and a fruit/veggie twice per day. On October 1, she started sleeping through the night, but has reverted the past few nights :( I'm blaming it on a stuffy nose caused by teething. She has her 2 bottom teeth, but seems to be working on some more... Still LOVES to be held and to watch her big bro. Her hair is starting to fill in. No more crazy bald spot in the back. Actually, I think she has more hair than Lucas did on his first birthday. Did I mention she's loud??? That girl can squeal and shout like no other baby! Last week was pretty darned chilly out, so we got to experiment with some of her winter outfits. I'm enjoying dressing up a little girl more than I thought I would! I am, however, coming up with lots of questions... do the tights go over or under the onesie? If I'm putting a skirt on her, nobody can tell the difference right?

This has been a crazy week - my surprise 30th birthday bash (gulp!) was last Sunday. That night we found out that some people who had been at the party seemed to have the flu. Of course, it wasn't just any old people that were sick... It was the family who watches Lucas and Charlotte. So, we owe a HUGE HUGE HUGE THANK YOU to Mommom and Pop who have been taking great care of our darlings this week... allowing us to save our sick days for when the flu inevitably strikes our house! Keep those fingers crossed that we don't get it too!

What weather

It was cold and rainy for the past 4 days. I had Friday off work, so I got the chores out of the way so we could have fun the rest of the weekend. We had fun playtime with Lily and Becca!

Moon Bounce!

After my surprise party, the weather was a little nicer. We blew up the moonbounce that was intended for the party and Lucas jumped himself silly!!!

That's a first...

Last week I had to buy our first EVER container of formula... Breastfeeding, storing frozen milk, and free formula samples got us through the first year of Lucas' life, and up until now with Charlotte. Formula is expensive; glad we haven't needed to buy it until now. Thank God for boobies!

Fall walk

I love when the fall comes! Monday was my kind of day... partly cloudy and around 60 degrees. In the evening, we took a walk around the neighborhood and ended up at the local elementary school playground. Even Charlotte got in on the fun!

Fall Festival Fun

Saturday morning we met Jeff, Chasity, & Lily at Homestead Gardens for their fall fest. There are pumpkins, a maze, animals, hay rides, pony rides, train rides, games, and more! Lucas fell asleep about 10 minutes before we got there, so he was not really himself. We waited in line twice for the little train ride that the kids go on by themselves, but when it was his turn, he cried and got off. He also cried about getting his face painted and going down the slides. He eventually warmed up a little, and got to play some games, ride a pony, go on a hay ride to the llama barns, and chase Lily around the hay playground! Charlotte was a dear, and just hung out watching everything...
