Fun pics!

Just catching up on our last trip to North Carolina before I forget!  The ride down was pretty painless - anything seems pretty painless when not towing a boat trailer that might crap out at any given moment.  We got to Grammie and Grampie's around 4:30.  After hanging out at their house for a bit (Grammie got a whole BOX of new toys for the kids!), we headed to a nice Italian restaurant.  I had yummy lobster ravioli, Tony had pasta and mussels, and Lucas just couldn't handle any more tiramasu! 

Saturday morning, we headed to the flea market for a while and ended up getting a decent amount of stuff - including a pineapple mango smoothie and a watch for Lottie.

 Then we hit up a playground...

 The rest of the day we spent at Grammie and Grampie's house.  We had lunch, played in the yard for hours (airplane throwing, rolling cars down the driveway, and watering each and every plant there), then grilled out dinner.

This pic cracks me up...  it looks like she is executing that statue instead of watering flowers!

While Grammie, Tony, Lucas, and I were up playing WAR (with cards) half the night, Charlotte was beat on the sofa...

 

Sunday morning, we went out to breakfast.  Then, while Tony and his dad took care of some things for a few hours, we went to a local hiking park and got our energy out...

After that, it was Mexican for lunch and another easy drive back!  Yay!!!
