Memorial Day Weekend

Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend, Lucas had a lacrosse game.  We left from there and headed toward the property.  We stopped in Hagerstown on the way, because they have a bmx track and there was a race that day at noon.  There weren't many people there, and Lucas had plenty of time to practice before the race began.  In the end, he came in 3rd because he fell (after getting a great start) at the beginning of the final race :(  Oh well, he got his first ever medal instead of trophy.  His highlight was in the 2nd lap when he cut someone off to get the inside line on a curve and came out ahead.  Once at the property, there was plenty of swinging, playing, quad riding, and unsuccessful fishing!  The Pebble Beach of disc golf was discovered, and we stayed 2 nights for the first time ever too!
The "pass you on the curve" maneuver

This time last year, we just found out we were expecting baby #3!!!

Howdy neighbor

Our neighbors Danny & Niz had a baby boy - Kade - 2 days before we had Lydia.  Same hospital and all...  They checked out just before we arrived, and were 2 hospital rooms down from where we were! What are the odds?

First lost tooth

Way back on April 11, Lucas lost his first tooth.  It was loose for weeks, and REALLY loose for a few days before it came out.  I say "came out", but I really mean "I pulled it out".  We kept making Lucas wiggle and wiggle it, and it was hanging pretty much by a thread.  Kids' loose teeth really creep me out, so I was hoping it'd come out easily.  Nope...  On a day of lacrosse practice, Lucas said he wasn't going because he was afraid his tooth would fall out while playing.  That was it.  Tony held him down, I sat on him, and I used a tissue to get it out.  No blood and no tears (after the fact!)...
At least he still had a mouthful of teeth for his birthday and his 6 year pictures...  There are 4 more loose now, but I don't think they're coming out anytime real soon!

Man Trip

In between family WV trips, Tony often goes up for a night to get some work done without kids nagging him...  Last time he went up alone, he dropped off our new picnic table, and set up a hammock and tire swing!
And these are some evening pics of my favorite place to ride the quad...

Baby's 3rd trip to WV

A few weeks ago, we took another trip to our property in WV.  This was our first time there since everything turned green.  There were leaves on trees and green grass all over the property... So pretty!  Tony cut the grass, cleared some more wood... And the kids played themselves silly!

Treasure

Shhh...there's treasure in my basement...  Don't tell!  Something equivalent to liquid gold!  That's right...  Breastmilk.  Bet you didn't see that coming.  This time around I have been pumping diligently.  Every day...  Something I never did with the other 2.  My goal was to have enough saved for when I went back to work for a few weeks this Spring.  I did it.  As of this second, I have enough for 110 bottles!
Depending on how often baby would eat when away, that is between 27-36 daycare days without me.  And I only have to work 19 days...  Woo hoo!  Let the stock up for Fall begin!!!
