We took Lucas to the pool again, and he continues to amaze us with his braveness! He will jump from the side of the pool or from the diving board - all with a huge grim on his face and a self-reminder to keep his mouth shut so no water gets in. He's been wearing his one-piece bathing suit that has some flotation-device-stuff in it... Makes him less slippery for us to catch him and lets him practice "swimming" on his own. We've been completely letting him go, and he will kick his legs and "swim" back and forth between us. He'll even jump in, go under, pop back up, and swim to us. Watch out Michael Phelps! We've got a kickboard for him to try next... While Lucas is busy swimming, poor Charlotte gets to just sit and watch :( Soon enough girl, it'll be your turn!
Beat after a morning of swimming!
Daddy has been working evenings just this week, so we've had lots of time in the mornings to play! In addition to swimming, we've been going to parks, for walks, and checking out farm animals...
Mommom and Pop are home from a couple weeks in NY, so we've been spending some time with them too!
