Poor baby

Poor lil Lottie has been sick for a WEEK! She had her 18 month well-baby visit last Thursday... Weighed in at 20 lbs. 3 oz. and was 31" long... What a peanut. She also got her flu shot. Friday she was a bit tired/cranky, but I attributed it to the shot. Saturday, Tony's parents were in town and she was just pitiful. Fever of almost 103 and just wanted to be held and sit on the sofa all day. Not like her at all... She even fell asleep there! Sunday morning she was still cranky and had the fever and still wasn't eating. But by Sunday afternoon she was just about back to normal. My mom watched her Monday, as I didn't want to send her back to daycare without being fever free for 24 hrs. Tuesday, I took her to Dineyli's. But again, she wouldn't eat, stayed on the sofa and had a slight fever. That evening I took her to the doctor. By the gas bubbles in her tummy and the little blisters in her throat, he said she she had a virus that was going around and that she'd start to feel better in a few days... That's one long lasting fever! Wednesday and today, my mom took her again... LOVE YOU MOM - THANKS!!!!! She was pretty miserable still for most of today, but started to magically perk up around dinner time. She was climbing on the sofa, laughing, and chasing Lucas... And yelling! Never thought that'd be a welcome noise ;P And she ate like a pig - a hot dog, tons of corn, yogurt, rice, and milk. Woo hoo!!! And for the first time all week, she didn't fall asleep on the sofa for the night before 6:00. Mommom will watch her again Friday, then we should definitely be good to go for next week. What a week...
