Last weekend, we had Lucas & Lottie's birthday party. Like last year, we combined it with cousin Lily's to make it even more fun!
The night before, I got Lucas to put together all of the goody bags!
The party started Saturday at 11, but we got to the park at 9:30. We rented a pavilion at Patapsco State Park, at the tire park near my school. Again, we brought the moonbounce. Between it and the playground, we knew at least the kids would stay warm! We worried a bit all week about the weather. They were calling for 52 degrees and scattered showers. It actually didn't feel too bad, but we had a fire going for the grandmas :) And my bro who came in shorts (???).
Some random shots of the fun...
Lottie & Pop
Lucas & Lily snacking...
Lucas & his buddy Jake from school...
Matt & Beth...
Moonbounce action... Lottie, Lily, Lucas & Becca
Me & my girl!

Future fireman?
Lottie & Ms. Dineyli (or as Lottie calls her - LI)
And I worried all week too that there wouldn't be enough food... Boy was I wrong. There was more than enough, and tons of leftovers!
We used the cake to celebrate 4 birthdays! Lucas and Lily turning 4, Charlotte 2, and Nathan 1. Poor kid turned 1 in January, but woke up barfing the day of his party so it got canceled : (
It was hysterical hearing the "happy birthday dear _____" part of the song!
Lottie couldn't keep her hands out of the icing!
Yummy!!!
After all the guests left (we had about 50 people show up), the kids continued their fun! Climbing on nearby rocks and jumping in the puddles in the moonbounce from those scattered and pesky storms.
Cousins...
The kids both fell asleep the second we got in the truck. They slept all the way home. We unloaded our party gear and headed to the after-party at Jeff & Chasity's. The kids played, we hung out and talked, ate leftovers, and watched some of the Final 4 basketball games. Didn't get home til 9 pm.... What a very long but very fun day!
