Sunday Funday

Friday was my last day of school before getting this week off for SPRING BREAK! Most teachers will tell you that those 2 words rank up there among their favorites... Not as good as SUMMER VACATION, but better than SNOW DAY! Every Friday after work, many of the cool teachers at school head to a local establishment for our "Friday meeting" aka happy hour. There was a contest going on... If you went for 7 weeks straight leading up to break, you'd be in the raffle for a prize. Well, prize was a bottle of champagne... I did go every week, but lost the raffle. Must've looked depressed, because the guy that did win gave me the prize anyway!!!
Saturday we stayed in due to the terrible storms/rain that plagued most of the east coast. By Sunday, we were really go get out!!! We hung (no pun intended) out at home most of the morning...
Then headed to the park to ride bikes... The river was really high, fast moving, and super muddy... We've never seen it look like that...
After naps, we headed to Jeff and Chasity's to have dinner and let the kiddos do some playing. We had some delicious grilled pork chops and potato salad! The kids got into some exciting "red light, green light" games...
Then wound down with some popcorn and a movie!
What a great way to end a weekend!!!

Oh, and I should mention I finished another grad class this week and sent all my assignments in for grading! Boo-yah! What a way to start a vacation...
