After having, as she called it, "a sad day" on Lucas' birthday (because it wasn't her birthday), Lottie was more than ready to have her special day. She actually got a few special days. The last time Mommom & Pop would see her before her birthday was Thursday, so they brought her gift over on bowling night - her own backpack for packing/taking on trips!
Since her birthday fell on a Saturday, we took cupcakes into school on Friday. Pink inside, pink icing, and more St. Patrick's Day green sprinkles.
After school Friday, we headed to Shenandoah State Park for the weekend (more on that coming soon). So, her actually birthday was spent camping. There will be way more pics in the camping post, but here are a few key ones:
First pic as a 3 year old:
Her "cake" that we sang to her with:
We took just one present for her to open - a pink baseball glove:
Sunday evening when we got home, we did the rest of her presents and sang again over ice cream cake!
Then, I sighed a big sigh of relief that the crazy week of birthdays had come to an end. Now we just have to finish planning the big party in April that we share with Lily and Nathan :)
