We spent the morning at home. Looking at the baskets and playing with the goodies inside. I got the kids mostly little toys/trinkets and just one food item. Didn't think they'd need tons of candy laying around the house for weeks... Or really, didn't think I'd need the temptation of candy!
After Lottie's morning nap, we headed outside to find the eggs that the Easter Bunny hid. Lucas did great hunting for them. Charlotte couldn't have cared any less. She just wanted to crawl around, climb steps, and eat dandelions.
The kiddos took early naps and then we headed to Uncle Roy and Aunt Barb's house for lunch and a family get-together... Lucas and Lily had a great time playing together, as usual. They are too cute! Baby Nathan did some chilling and sleeping. Lottie did a lot of crawling in the grass and eating. The egg hunt was so much fun to watch. Lucas and Lily followed each other around, helping each another get eggs. They'd even pick up eggs and put them in the other one's basket, much like last year. After the hunt, they sat together and dumped all the coins/candy out. It's great that they're so close in age and get along so well. I hope they're close for years to come :)
After all that fun, we walked next door to Mommom and Pop's for more Easter goodies!
At the end of the day we had 2 sweaty and tired munchkins!
