Raven Maniacs!!!

Like many folks around here, we are big Ravens fans! We wear purple every Friday, and watch all the games. The Ravens made it to the playoffs for the 3rd straight season, only to lose in the second round to their archnemesis - the Steelers - booooooo! We had a lot of fun cheering them on though...

Cupcakes for the Ravens rally at Lucas' school
Ang and Rebecca at school... Yes, I teach nextdoor to a Steelers fan!
We actually went to Rebecca's house (it's ok - her husband is a Ravens fan) for the big game. Their daughter, Gabby, was dressed in half Ravens, half Steelers. Poor kid!
Bye for now Ravens... catch ya in the fall!

Snapshots...

Just a few shots from the past few weeks that never made it to a post of their own:

Severe bed head
Just some cuties
Poor Lottie on breathing treatments again for wheezing - so much easier for us all than when we had to do it a year ago...
Museum trip to DC
Trying on our new snowpants for the snow that didn't come

A lil more snow

I just LOVE this pic!

About an inch and a half of snow... So much fun for Lottie! We got out of school an hour early on Tuesday... for snow that didn't start until after dinner time. Guess they were afraid of a repeat of last month's disaster when they knew it was coming and didn't let us go as early as they should have... boy were the roads a mess.

We went in 2 hrs late the next day - no big deal but Lottie got in a little snow fun at Ms. Dineylis!

Christmas Day

Better late than never, right? Here is the recap of our Christmas Day:

Kids slept until almost 7. Here's a view of the tree/gifts before the mayhem began...
Lucas was oh-so-excited about the racecar track that Santa left for him!
Random shots of gift opening:
The kids opening their fleece blankets I made them. Lucas' has all the cars from the movie CARS, and Lottie's has dogs.
After everything was opened:
Around noon, we went to my parents' house. It snowed all the way there, but that was pretty much it. Nevertheless, I took the obligatory "white Christmas" pics for the kids!
The tree there:
Santa left that awesome double easel (it's magnetic, a whiteboard, and a chalkboard), and this adorable CARS table (also a dry-erase writing surface) with chairs... The kids LOVED them!
Charlotte testing out her new princess snow boots...
Lucas wearing his new CARS slippers... and a psychotic expression...
Gigi got him some CARS pjs (do you notice a recurring theme for all his gifts???). He immediately put them on and stayed in the for the rest of the day!
Uncle Matt enjoying his new grill and blanket:
When we got home, we opened stockings and then played in the tent/tunnel that Mike and Brenda gave the kids. They thought it was the best!
Thanks everybody for making our day special :)
