Right around 4 months, we gave Lydia cereal for the first time. She loved it! For weeks she had been intently watching us eat and would even try to grab things from us (like crackers) and put them in her mouth. She's been eating a little bit most mornings and evenings :) This was her first time:

Bowling
Tony has been on a bowling league all year, but the rest of us have taken about a year off. We went a few weeks ago, and I bowled a 186 and 160. I'll take it! When Mike and Sil were in town a few weeks ago, we went again with them. It was a ton of fun, and we were even there for a little bit of Rock & Bowl, where they turn the lights off and have the disco balls and blacklights going!
Excuse the lack of Lottie bowling pics. She played in the arcade most of the time. Lucas is getting pretty good. No more bumpers, and he can actually pick up some spares!!!
Ha, I just came across a few pics of the first bowling adventure I talked about earlier this post:

Mother's Day
We had a pretty low-key Mother's Day. Flea market in the morning, a few hours here at home, and then spent the afternoon and Mommom & Pop's. We made these crafts for the grandparents and one for us, out of the kids' hand and footprints. All this one is missing is the butterfly antennas...
2 memorable quotes from Lucas about Mother's Day...
1. At school they made a nice card for the moms, and a few coupons for chores, hugs, etc. He told me "We were supposed to make 4 coupons, but it was a lot of work, so you just get 2."
2. The night before Mother's Day, he says "I just can't wait until tomorrow - it's going to be the best day EVER!" I asked why. He replies "cause it's Mother's Day". In my head I'm thinking "awww", til he says "so that means I get to see Mommom & Pop and eat whatever I want." Gee, thanks kid.
Anyway, here are some pics of the day:
