The day after

First thing Sunday morning, we suited up and took a walk around the block just to see what the world outside of our unplowed street looked like. We were worried Lucas might not be able to walk well in the deep snow, but he stepped in my footsteps and did just fine. Lottie rode in style in the backpack.

Our road
Most of the rest of the world looked much like our road. 2 main roads thru the neighborhood were "plowed". By plowed, I mean packed down snow and only one lane wide. Don't know what would happen if 2 cars came at the same time???
After naps, we headed back out for another look around. Things had been done since our first walk, but it was still a mess. On one main road we could see a little pavement. But there were still snow bumps all over and as soon as the slush melted it was gonna get nasty.
Tony, like many men I'm sure, couldn't wait to get in the truck and try to get somewhere just for fun. Since our road was still unplowed, he backed the truck up and down the road and smashed down most of the middle snow so that people could get out if need be. Plus, in case we didn't get plowed overnight, he'd have an easier time getting out for work in the morning.
And we went to bed Sunday night with a Saints victory, but still no sight of a plow...
