Air Show

Last Saturday, we went down to Andrews Air Force Base for the 3rd year in a row for the joint operations air show.  The weather was gorgeous - 80 and sunny!  Rebecca and Gabby met us there too...
In the hangar, we came across a pretty good country band.  Unfortunately, the only fans he could motivate to dance were our 3 kids.  The singer bribed them with free keychains to get their groove on...  But we had to leave after we couldn't control our laughter when Gabby kept "breakdancing" (aka - humping the floor)...
Mid-afternoon, we always have to quit wandering around so we can head to the tarmac to watch the super cool planes do their shows.  The Raptor F-22 was back this year, and the B-2 stealth bomber flew in from Missouri.  Last, the Navy's Blue Angels performed...  Amazing!

The kids were great, and we finally got back to our car around 4:45...  Only to find that our key wouldn't open the door.  We had to call Geico to send someone out to jimmy the door open..  Which left us in the parking lot for a little over an hour.  Luckily, there was shade and the kids had grass to sit in and toy planes to play with.  Several strangers offered help and gave us cold drinks!  That'll be an adventure to remember, and we can't wait to go back next year!!!
