After what felt like 3 weeks of birthday festivities, we finally had the kids' REAL birthday party at the beginning of April. Grammie & Grampie came up, and we lucked out again with the weather. We rented the same pavilion as last year... had a playground, river, and grill right there... And we set up some tents for shade and playing in. To spice things up this year, we even hired an amazing face painter that I went to high school with. She sure was a hit; the kids LOVED it!
