WV times and BMX races!

At the very end of June (the weekend of the supermoon!), we went up to our WV property.  It was hot and buggy, and I told Tony I'm not going back til September.  Regardless, we still had some fun...

On the way home, we stopped at the Winchester BMX track for a race.  That may be the most unorganized track in the universe.  The race started an hour and a half late for no apparent reason, which left Lydia super tired and cranky by the end... And, there weren't many racers, so there weren't enough 6 year olds to make a moto (racing group).  So, in his group there were two 6 year olds and two 8 year olds.  Hardly seemed fair, but Lucas was a smart racer... Cutting people off and edging past people in the turns... He came in second and was very pleased with himself!
